Dr. Klim currently is Medical Director of the Hospice and Palliative Medicine program at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center.
Dr. Klim served as co-director of the residency program (1988-1993) and helped establish one of the nation's first rotations in subacute rehabilitation. He has served as a medical student advisor since 1986 and is a popular lecturer among students of all ages. He received the department's Teacher of the Year award in 1996.
Dr. Klim's publications include physician-related issues in subacute rehabilitation, in Subacute Care: A Guide to Development, Implementation and Management (Thompson Publishing Group), May 1995 and The Physiatrist and Subacute Rehabilitation, in Physical medicine and Rehabilitation Clinics of North America, February 1996, 7(1):55-81.
